About the Highlands Ranch Report

The Highlands Ranch Report is a free weekly newsletter for people who live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. No paywall, no jargon, just the local news that matters to residents.

Every week we cover four things:

• Local news: what is happening around the community.
• Events: HRCA programs, concerts, markets, and seasonal activities.
• Development updates: new neighborhoods, commercial projects, and construction.
• Government: Douglas County commissioners and the HRCA board, in plain language.

Highlands Ranch is unincorporated, which means there is no city council. We keep an eye on the bodies that do govern daily life here: the Douglas County commissioners and the Highlands Ranch Community Association.

This site is a prototype. The newsletter, the archive, and the sponsor program are all still taking shape.
